Today I will …

fill up a bag with food from our pantry.

This will probably be the shortest blog post so far and even better: the step is really easy!

I’ve noticed that once in a while I find something in our cupboards that we used to eat a lot, but for some reason don’t eat anymore. It just happens; over the years, our tastes and preferences change. Instead of letting those items take up valuable space until they have gone bad, I will put them in a bag and donate them to the Foodbank. The Foodbank has collection bins in a lot of grocery stores, so I don’t even need to make an effort and my cupboards will have some space for things we actually use! Of course, I’m only donating food that is still good and useful to the Foodbank.

Check out my post about the effective shopping experience to make sure you don’t buy food you won’t eat.
